Looking for hotels in Las Vegas

Hey guys,
this winter I am going to visit Las Vegas for the first time, so I need some help with finding cheap hotel rooms. There are these websites that allegedly have good offers, but I do not know if they are reliable. Do you know any that are really good and that you have used before and does anyone have any experience with this one in particular: http://las-vegas.hotelscheap.org/ ?
Thank you in advance!

Not a well known Vegas hotel site at all. I'd be very wary. We have a Vegas thread which will give you the advice you need about great deals from reputable sources

Have to wonder if the OP is spamming
A few replies to old threads then this
from the website
Is there a cost for using this service?
The short answer is “yes”. In order to provide our customers with such a wide selection of real-time hotel inventory at these great prices, a fee will be assessed on a per night basis, and will appear separately on your credit card bill. This charge will be billed from Hotel Hotline LLC, and is imposed to help offset the charges associated with processing your transaction. These charges are subject to change at any time, and are non-refundable.0 -
If OP can't find a hotel using Google or other search engines then probably won't be able to find a flight either!0

trying a dummy booking and
In order to offset the costs associated with processing your reservation, a non-refundable Service Fee will be assessed in the amount of $9.95 per night and will appear on your credit card statement as a charge from Travres*ServiceFee. This fee is already included in the 'Total Cost' listed above and will be charged when you place this reservation.
Looks like it's part of the Tax Recovery Charges & Service Fees in the booking summary...and the rate per night varies based on the cost of the hotel per night.
It doesn't look particularly cheap either...so I can't really see any reason to even consider using them.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -

No, I'm not. I was just asking about this site, but if you have any other recommendations I am open to them.
And to the other poster: Booking flights is way easier than finding a hotel room in my opinion.0 -

Apologies if you are not but your post history does suggest it.
have you read the Vegas sticky? there are many suggestions there and as Ferf posts, the prices on the website you posted are not that competitive0 -

As others have said look on the first pages of LAS Vegas sticky
And cheap accommodation can be found in Hostels-$20 per night.0 -
Okay, so thanks for your input guys. I looked through a lot of websites and the last ones standing were http://www.hostelbookers.com/, as suggested by blindman, http://www.lastminute.com/ from the Vegas Sticky and http://las-vegas.hotelscheap.org/, the one I was asking you about.
I think the offer from lastminute was best, so I am going to stick with it. I also found a rather cheap flight, so I think I am set.
Thanks again for the help! I wish you all very nice holidays!0 -
Have you looked at Trip Advisor? They have a lot of stuff on LV.0

did you try looking at any of the sites on the Vegas sticky like smartervegas, etc. where you book direct with the hotel using a code available to the public and not through a 3rd party? You also have more flexibility as you can normally cancel if you find something better comes along.
The one you originally asked about wasn't particularly cheap to begin with and that was before adding the extra fees so a bit surprised if it is coming up as one of the best options...maybe it's your specific dates or something.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0
