You could post on their facebook page to encourage a quicker response, (which making an issue public usually does) however all thats likely to happen is that their PR company who run the Facebook page will steer you toward emailing the details, taking it back behind 'closed doors'.0

I didn't know how to proceed beyond my call to Aldi so I asked here and I'm grateful for your ansewrs
In order
a] if it's not a one-off, someone else will notify them
b] you didn't eat it so why worry
c] how would you know, and why would it matter... there's nothing you can do now to change the fact
Truly...bin it and move on.0 -

Nothing would happen if a small child swallowed one paracetamol tablet.
For possible toxicity to occur they would need to swallow over 200g per kilo of their body weight. 1 tablet would possibly cause toxicity in a premature newborn baby weighing 2kg, who wouldn't be eating yoghurt in the first place.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

You do realise even babies over 2 months can take paracetamol, right?
You're right in suggesting it is looked into, but the rest is just codswallop. We dont know (or even have enough to suspect) that a worker placed it there. We dont know that its paracetamol or even any type of medication. You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0 -

problem is we dont know if this is an isolated incident or a case of sabotage - let the authorities work it out eh?0 -

That's assuming that "someone else" didn't ask for advice elsewhere and was also told to"Throw it in the bin and move on with your life"0 -

I'm hoping you meant 200mg per kilo
[*], or possibly some even more rational figure.
200g of paracetamol is 400 tablets (500mg each), and that would probably kill a horse, never mind a child.
* Wonkypedia agrees with this figure!0 -

are you sure children can take Paracetamol

The instructions that you have shown are for 500mg paracetamol tablets, the strongest available in the UK and it doesn't state that they can't be given to any children, just not to those under 12 years old.earthstorm wrote: »are you sure children can take Paracetamol
Many children's medicines sold in the UK contain paracetamol.
This one for example is for ages 6+
