**can anyone help? Virus on computer**

My husband put a virus on our computer a few months ago by trying to download a fake PDF - a very kind MSE'R helped us fix it. Now I have gone and done the exact same thing by trying to download an application for cheap passport photos! Lesson well and truly learnt!

I think it's a similar virus?? Keeps coming up with "Delta" search

Can anyone help me? please? I'm trying to follow the instructions of my previous thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4538527 (hubby did it b4) however I deleted a couple of sections and I'm not sure what to do. I am just terrible with computers.

This is what I have done so far and will post below (taken from my old thread)

Delete what AdwCleaner found.

• Right click AdwCleaner.exe and choose "Run as Administrator" to run it.
• Click the Scan button.
• When the scan finishes, click the Clean button.
• Click OK to the prompt and let AdwCleaner reboot the computer.
• A logfile will open in notepad after reboot. Copy/paste to post the contents of the logfile in your next reply.
• You can also find the logfile at C:\AdwCleaner\AdwCleaner[S**].txt.
