Few days fully comp?

My car goes in for repair next week.
I need to use my gf car for 2 consecutive days
I want to be added to her insurance which I initially guessed would be £50-60? She says there's also an admin charge on her insurers of £30-something
That's too expensive. Rather than drive hers uninsured, is there a cheaper way round it? Could I temporarily add her car to my policy? Online quotes for fresh insurance only appear to be for annual premiums?
Any help is great

Does your policy not cover you to drive other vehicles?Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit a wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it0 -
