    it maybe cheaper to just to rent a van to drive from a local rental for 2 days.

    I need a car for work and occasionally the dates clash with when my wife needs it. Booking in advance I hire the smallest car from Enterprise for £20 to £25 a day. Big excess but you can reduce it by paying more. Much more cost effective for us than running another car.
