Fine thanks TH, have few bags for you in my porch must meet up before I get called away to Dorking when baby arrives. Due in just over 4 weeks.
Yes Dodo was such a bad influence.:rotfl:Taking me past the chocolate wine stall couple of times and the Gallo one. We had great fun at the wine tasting though bit of a scrum to get a seat reminded me of whoopsie time. :rotfl:Someone called Miss Boquet was our connoisseur and she brought 7 wines to taste. Apparently she did not know she was meant to be limited to 5.
DD2 went today with friends but apparently they were all too scared to try anything. I can't believe she does not take after her mother.
Gosh, just four weeks left till the patter of little feet:):)
Yes it will be really lovely to get together and I can pass on some baby things.
When we went to Somerset I had signed up my parents (who were cat sitting for us) to go the the tesco finest food evening and they did really well and got some lovely finest ham with mustard and beef slices!0 -

(That's quite funny - your post, what you've said, for my immature way:o. Perhapsis too extreme for it - not really that far as to be that!)
As regards your substantive point (if there is one:D, maybe I'm reading into your post too much:doh: - but what else can you do when your starting point is often a literal one and you then are habitually made into constantly having to go behind things in order to work out if there was something else behind it?), on the point I think you were making, yes I agree, in theory, it should be that way but, in practice, ... I wish it wasn't like this but 'swearing' (whatever that is, certainly the more extreme ones that my parents/teachers etc. in their (failed) attempt to protect me... zzz.zzz.) around kids does make me (and I suspect a lot of others) uncomfortable (whether always, or sometimes or to some other extent). I wish it wasn't that way in practice and that it was the theory. But it isn't!:(:(
(I know kids say that, but even so...) And I wish it wasn't the "even so...".
Blame the parents! Or the kids:rotfl::rotfl:!0 -

Just been looking on amazon to see if their Soap and glory products are any cheaper, as they had a few cheap bits last year.
This came up on the search :eek: :rotfl:
http://www.amazon.com/zhe-Fanny-Face-Soap/dp/B002YDTTHG/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1384638158&sr=8-5&keywords=fanny+soap
*Dont look if you are easily offended*
I know. But, in considering whether I ought to dash certain societal myths for children by expressly mentioning the characters to which they relate, that 'watershed' thing has no relevance to the internet and, regardless of whether it was posted at night or not, could still be seen and read by children (and others) during the daytime. So, on that basis, twenty four hours apply* (as to whether the material is suitable for children etc.).
Anyway, and I've said this before, I doubt few immature ones would be reading threads such as this and those who can would highly likely be mature enough to understand (in broad terms) the standards already.
:eek: Just realised what I'm quoting now!
(We have a delete button, I will stay up to 4.59am, one minute before the watershed ends - did you know the timing of that?? - and delete off my post, on second thoughts etc., if I feel it is inappropriate for children who may then be able to view during the day.)
* Or 25 hours:p, on the Sunday in October when the clocks go back.0 -

[2] There's people who do know how to do very little and constantly to shout about what they are (supposedly, but in fact not) doing and take the credit from other's hard work. These people, yet again, yes you've guessed, do get promoted/recognised by our society. Sadly I just sit there, in the background, quietly getting on with work and not having the ability to go round drawing constant attention to my work and communicating my great worth.
[3] Oh - so you've had a long train of thought over time, only finally to come to a conclusion about the matter! Just like me. Is there - and this isn't intended to be offensive and I'm sure it won't be taken to be (why :mad::( did I feel the need to add this last part?) - a little bit of Asperger's in yourself in this respect, especially as your son has it and it's a bit genetic? Not offence - if you have it, in my view it's a great advantage in quite a lot of respects!! Wishing you do - good luck!!:rotfl::rotfl::D:D:T:T:j:j
I am a lucky Jack myself!:j
I was not funny at the time. He has really struggled at school, so I had home educated him with the plan of going to a specific senior school with a specific teacher. So after the Christmas before he went to back to school, I would heavily hint... ooh I will buy this to put in the back of the wardrobe.. He just never took the hint, as finding out mum had lied was too big an issue for him. When I eventually plucked up the courage to tell him, he was mortified. The mortification increased when I added about the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy! Poor child.
I very rarely get offended by anyone or anything, and no much shocks me. But I am intolerant of intolerance (I developed this as my kids all had their own difficulties in their childhood).
DS2 and ASD, I think he gets his ASD from his dad (who is the most loveliest man in the world, well he is to me).;);)
