It was yesterday.
I got the maclelland serioulsly strong vintage cheddar £4.93 in A v £2.50 in T and better still if you can find a trigger. I used one of the 30% less fat A's own [STRIKE]but haven't checked if they are showing on MSM today.
[/STRIKE]
EDIT I checked since I will be getting some later
30% less fat Mild WILL NOT WORK as on MSM
30% less fat Medium, Mature and Extra mature not on MSM so should trigger ( I think I used the Mature yesterday)
Despite my observations earlier about Extra Mature appearing when you search 30% less fat but coming back as not in the database when you scan using MSL ... it matched on the APG. On two shops :mad:.
Ah well, that is £10 I won't see again but I supppose it is only fair they win sometimes at this game and four blocks of nice cheese to now get through(and no, I won't be taking the cheese back, as I only ever return items they can sell again following my personal return rules on failed glitch shops, as it would be unfair that they would then have to bin it).

Well, if only I hadn't gone to do the shopping!:(:( I should have touched wood far more the other night - involved in a minor car accident in the car park. You know (or maybe you don't) how much I bother myself about these things - have I got the insurance, does it cover from the previous day if the previous policy only covered till midday on that day - have I informed them of obviously every minor scratch ever caused to the vehicle in any way, just a compulsive true-teller that just cannot lie to save oneself and has to comply with every rule no matter how minor, now Googling about whether I have to report to the police etc. And..after all that - it being a damage collision (damage to both) and I've given my name and address, etc., and all I was required to do, it looks like I've complied with every aspect of road traffic law but, yet again, I've gone to the detail and found the other driver is the one who I've 'caught out' as they gave their name and phone number but didn't give me their address. So, having bothered myself, they're now technically the only party under an obligation, in theory, to report the accident to the police as soon as possible. No one else except me would be worrying myself about this!
I'm sure these minor technical details are not even known to or even noticed by almost everyone else and that they don't need to bother with them and, if it'd been between two normal people, they'd never have been any worry. Does everyone always on every occasion comply with traffic lights, report every minor thing no matter how insignificant to insurance companies and bother with every technical and detailed theoretical legal requirement on every occasion?? I doubt anyone else really does this, so I needn't worry! I'm liable to be the one to end up being unable to get insurance cover at all if I continue being totally honest this way. I just can't help it!! Relatives of all kinds are just floored by how honest I am.
I think I need to take a more pragmatic view. (If the issue is raised, and I think it's very unlikely it will be, about whether I complied with every part of the reporting requirements, I can always then mention I was never given their address and therefore that they didn't comply with section 170(2) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 and were thus under an obligation to report the accident under section 170(3).):rotfl:
Society doesn't realise just how much its rules that it requires us to comply with and in theory we are supposed to comply with, how much I cut myself up about them sometimes when really I ought not to bother or worry that much. Phew, I think I'm okay!
What happened Sav? I had a ding in Tesco car park a year ago, and in my mind, I got well and truly shafted by the insurance company :mad:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. Hi everyone
Several weird things happened today. 1stly I tidied my coupon folders - small concertina folders, I usually have one for Tesco MOCs, TPPS, till spits, conditional spends, mailing and mag MOCs. the 2nd one for Asda APGs and Asda mag MOCs and any MOCs to use in any store and the 3rd one has MOCs and other odds and sods I probably wont use but I hang onto just incase because you never know.
Well Ive got so few MOCs that Asda and Tesco now share a folder, everything else is in a second and the 3rd one is now totally empty. I can now put 2 folders in the big handbag and off I go. I cant remember that last time I had so few MOCs.
I did a Sada shop today but it went wrong
So now I have my shopping mojo fully functioning again and nothing to go shopping with or any glitches to aim for
So I think I am now sticking to Bom Pot shops until we go away and putting as much as I can into the Food Bank trolley in Asda as a by product.
I think last year was so much better for coupons. I had loads. Not its a few.
The food bank is having a drive at tesco end of month acvordinging to new tesco mag if anyone passing through0 -

No!!:mad::mad::(:(
That would have been even worse for me. I'd then have had to report the accident, under the Road Traffic duty and that would have bothered me even more:rotfl:. At least them stopping and giving some details allows me to deal with my insurance company. A lot simpler - much a relief, albeit as ever always a disruption none of us would ever like to have.
Oh well - onto insurance company tomorrow when they're open (via their 0800 number that they don't mention anywhere:rotfl:). It'll get sorted - but car off to repairers in due course. Only a few months after coming back from there, after a driver hit my car outside my house one morning. I was in luck - they left their details (that never happens, said the repair place). Oh.
I like to think that life is putting me to having to do these things just so I can cope better with them.
Btw, not your fault I had the bump into my car! Supermarket car parks - a nightmare location, lots of accidents happen in them.
I'll say no more on this accident now, as any more details risks prejudice.:)0 -

There's nothing I can say Savvy, hope you feel better for getting it off your chest. I'll just send you a (totally useless to you) virtual hug instead

I hate companies that supposedly go under but then come back again and then go under again! Just bloody close down will you. Ethel Austin is another one like that.
Does anyone know why SAFEWAY shut down? I know it's like a decade ago but I was just wondering. Used to love it and their ABC card. LOL.
Safeway were taken over in 2005 by Morrisons when Morrisons strategy was to expand their reach from being a mainly northern supermarket to National and this was a reasonably quick way to grow - some of the sites/stores were then sold off to rivals where there would be too many Morrisons in one area.

I think it'll work out all right. Sorry to hear you had that happen to you (I think I remember you mentioning it some time ago). I've already posted that that's all the detail I'm mentioning.:)0 -
