Hi there - a night off last night, enjoyable and I think it's refreshed myself. Just popping on to make you aware of some changes that may otherwise catch you out - A's Malted Wheaties have now gone up from £1 to £1.88 so just aware no longer to be on Tvs A and no longer a 'filler' Avs S either.

Also some price increases on items in S - so some further items need removing from Avs S (I'll go and check in a mo., can't remember what I've just deleted off what would otherwise have been my shopping but if I go and look at my Avs S post I may remember what's no longer on).

Also - Bird's Eye Rice Fushions Golden Fragrant Veg thing - should have been mentioned as Avs M - A £1 M £1.

In fact last night, I was after hearing a song - I found the original version on Youtube, but not the original radio edit, and the radio edit has a slight different bit in it that I particularly wanted to hear - it's got to be the exact right one you see;) (that said, you'll all pernickity with your timing and exact right moments at which it's 'appropriate' to interrupt conversations for example, so you have the same foibles as I have here:rotfl: - I'm not that odd after all!:D) - so I went to try to find it in my record collection - spent best part of an hour, couldn't find it but took that amount of time because I found lots of other favourite tunes, so then I brought them to the stereo system and put them on. Quite a good night.

As for the record collection itself, that's in a complete jumbled mess because, when it was moved to its current place, that was done by a family member:( and they just put it in a big pile so that no-one has any idea where any particular CD is. (I know - computer files etc., but I prefer the physical things, files just so easy to delete and never get back, and same problem about searching even for files etc.) If I'd have put the record collection there, I'd have done so with alphabetical order (or at least put all the artists beginning with "A" in one place) - sort of doesn't click with the other people despite telling them that's how I wanted it doing. At some point, I've eventually get it sorted into sort of alphabetical order - would be a whole load easier, but will take some time.

Reminds me of a newspaper report - a guy who infuriated his wife by ordering his record collection... by the dates of birth of the composers:rotfl::D. It's actually a more logical way of doing so and, also, it helps give an overview of different recording styles and how they've changed over the years as it's more in chronological order. So you could argue that order is actually a better one. But, not how most people do it, and of course infuriated others (the final straw perhaps) especially as they don't memorise the dates of birth of composers, just want the song they want. I'm not quite like the 'dates of birth' order person - more conventional me, just plain alphabetical (by artist's last name). That'll do fine - and many people would like it I think! Instead of complete just dump them anywhere:mad::mad::rotfl::rotfl:, total disorganisation and can't find anything without wading through much of the whole lot. I guess some people are like that - and I've come simply to expect that of this person, I'd be surprised if they listened to me at all or did anything properly, and I can deal with that!:D:rotfl::(:rotfl:

I think I may have jumped in too early on the baby food...

    I've bought 24 but 4 x 5 and 1 x 4.

Do you reckon I've messed this one up?

Afraid so, APG will pick up 2 x 12 offers and compare £6 v £6.96.
APG only compares max of 10 of the same item.

    Buy 12 in A v T shop,
either 12 of the same flavour, or to give best return 11 + 1.

    Pay £3,
    APG £2.70 - so 30p for 12.

And you know what happened to my last 2 ironing ladies ;)

And the third one lived happily ever after (even though she'd finished the ironing with her brand new iron)

Can anyone guarantee an infinite supply of ironing? Preferably at above NMW...:j

Surely if you get 12 of the same flavour it would pick up the offer too?

Oh, I don't know what I've just deleted from my saved Avs S list, maybe the items weren't good comparison enough to have made it to the final selection that appeared on here. And looking through my own Avs S post is now only reminding me of items I've missed off my shopping and getting me more likely to buy them:eek:!

(I don't know about you, but my lists on this thread are a bit difficult to find aren't they? Now that I've taken off the page numbers. That was done because I've now moved (at last!) to 40 posts a page and page numbers vary for different people but, with your permission:rotfl:, I will try to put on the page number and use the one that those with 40 posts will have.)

Meanwhile - last Avs S is here:

    http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.php?p=63754205&postcount=3455

Just don't get those Malted Wheaties! And check your selection through msm.co.uk (or Msl app.) before you go and get it, to make sure the Sains. price hasn't changed from what it says on my list.

I've not caught up (of course!), so if there's any new Avs S or Avs W glitching, you'd better tell me!! Right now! Immediately!:D As those are the couple of shops I'm doing today. Righto, quick pop and back out now as need to complete my own shopping!! Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon, and the evening! (Bye for now:smileyhea.)

Only 10 of any item will show in the results?
