I am trying to impose some sort of regime on my virtual self as won't be long now when I need to put mum's bungalow on the market so I really need to get on.

I have been using Green Flag for years.
Always go through Quidco and have never had a problem, you used to have to register your policy number after purchase and I don't think everyone read the terms and conditions properly. Don't have to do this now.
Always get cashback, though it can take a few months. Have never tried to cancel a policy, but I always cancel the CC auto renew or DD after getting cashback, so can rinse and repeat the following year.
