Phew what a day. Firstly dd and her friend woke me at 3.a.m a little the worst for wear after carnival. then phone rang at 9.30 from Mums carer to say she had a fall in the shower and she could not get her up. so hurriedly dressed and drove there. We got her up but she had a bad cut on her leg. So paramedic came and said she needed to go to hospital. They took her about 11 in an ambulance and I followed in the car.
They steristripped it together but said it wont heal quickly as it was such a big cut.
Got home about 10 mins ago. Might even be too tired for a trip to w tonight!!

Have they kept your mum in or sent her home - just a bit worrying incase she has banged her head on the way down. Do you have the district nurse coming in to keep an eye on the wound, clean it up and change the dressing?

(yes Ive been there :D with my Dad and his falls)

Yes we have a massive BM which used to be a Focus DIY - a right Aladins cave of a place and they had those last week - these would be great to go into pamper hampers/Christmas/Birthdays/get well quickly etc

    Good afternoon all,

As an update for those wondering -

Still at mum's but things going better. I've done 3 weeks at my anger course and that's really helping.

I caught a few snakes in the past but as recently, I've lost my mojo again.

The thread went south again I saw so I decided to merely skim. So,

I'm off out shopping - what do I need to look for?

    I have A - Bom Pot, New pot, S&G (anything else?) :o

    T - Nothing :(

    S - Nothing :(

I hope all are having a good day.

    :A

    All the best:)
