Quick question: have any fellow jam makers out there used frozen fruit to make jam? I'm considering it but wonder if it changes the flavour at all/makes it weaker?

I use frozen fruit for jam and didn't notice any difference although I did defrost the fruit first and drain any juice before I made the jam

Ignore, don't respond or thank aggravating posts, perhaps troll will go back under the bridge.

I gave up on the shopping in T, came home and tried out my new Actifry. Got it from Argos. Ordered yesterday for collection today, and when I collected it it had another fiver off, :D now £94.99. Bought a chip cutter too to take the total over £100 and got a £10 gift card.

    Verdict on the Actifry

Brilliant chips, really tasty and crispy, and DH loved them too. He told me we are keeping it :D

Nerfy, glad to hear your news. Nerflet3 will be delighted I'm sure. It'll do your heart good to see him getting so much enjoyment out of it.

Off to cook more chips;) My SW consultant says I can eat as many as I like as long as I use Frylight instead of oil:T:T:D
    See you later

Can I ask a wee question please? :) How many chips does it hold at a time? I make the SW ones all the time but we are quite greedy and usually have two full oven trays. I do really really fancy an actifry but only if it will cook enough for 3 greedy portions at once. :T

Have never used my report button until this evening.

So good though that everybody has shown such resilience and not retaliating, especially those who had vile comments aimed at them!

Actifry sounds brilliant! I rarely use my fryer due to smells lingering.

Rhosynbach - if your sister doesn't want to do gifts this Christmas and you don't see her often, instead of presents, could both your families meet up and go to the theatre together or for a meal together somewhere or whatever you all enjoy.

thanks good idea but hard to arrange as we are so far away from each other, will try though not really bothered about presents but her attitude is rubish and also all the other children got presents until they were 18 bit hard to explain to my youngest he does not .get them
Welcome to the naughty step, beer??
