This is a common practice among the "shall we say the less honest members of the community" with regards to vehicles with exterior spare wheels.
So if you have a peugeot, citroen, vauxhall amongst others , be on your guard and have a lock fitted!!0 -
i didnt realise that would happen. so spacesavers are a good idea then! nobody is gonna nick them!0

As they say "you learn by your mistakes".(trust me on this one as I've learned the hard way!) Never again will I travel without a spare if possible.0 -
Depends on your attitude towards probabilities like that. I don't know anyone who's had a blow out. My tyres last 12 months max and are low enough profile that you can drive on them when flat (well 10psi anyway).Happy chappy0

Well seeing as the average vehicle (which covers about 90% - 95% of all cars) doesn't have "run flat "tyres , my original argument still stands.0

diesel9180....what do you mean by a spacesaver?0

A spacesaver is an emergency tyre, thinner than you would normally use, they are often used nowadays to save space and money, and are usually limited to 50mph/50milesEver get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
