aww pam that’s rubbish, stupid people who re jiggle things withouot a thought for anyone else. Sending youa big hug.

on the freecycle front, have picked for items posted yesterday, no one answered to say when can collect yet, but sure they just busy. Also have won an item, and off to collect it tonight, woooooohooooo. Can't wait.

thanks 160! they just want to save money and don't care how they do it. Sat round since Thurs pretty shell shocked - good job I'm on the banks cases, and getting some money in, might well be needing it !! Seeing those inflatables in the audience yesterday really made me laugh and I immediately thought of freecycle :rotfl:

I'll check back in my groups later and see if the Mods have let posts through.

    see ya later,
    Pam

Do any of you wonderful people in xxxxxxxxxxxx have a Halloween
Witches Hat stuffed in a cupboard somewhere that you would be willing
to part with? My 12yr old niece has chosen to play a witch in her end
of year school play and we have everything now bar the hat(she could
have been Cinderella but apparently witches have more fun and it suits
her personality more). Can't find a thing in any of the charity shops
at all and parents etc have been asked by the school to be creative
and not buy new (something to do with preventing some parents from
throwing tons of money at 'professional costumes' leaving other
children feeling inadequate in home-made or recycled).
OK be creative, make it yourself

I'd imagine parents reading freecycle who have young kids, would quickly be able to help out, and save the bother of her having to make one.

Just signed upto freecycle as Im havign a house clearence. Got rid of 3 seperate items on freecycle in the first day, one of the collectors mentioned the word carboot a little to often and references to you could make a living off freecycle cycle etc, I have my suspicions that some people are probably putting in claims for everything and then they carboot the gear.
