My friend had to fix her old coal bunker just to store some things and
gave me some coal. We were going to use it in our fire pit but it seems
a bit of a waste. There are 2 bags so if someone could use it they are
    more than welcome.
Must be collected asap or will end up going to the recycling centre

What else can you do with coal? If you recycle it what will they turn it into?

I am looking for something that could be used to keep hens safely in at
night please. They will have freedom to roam in the day so it doesn't
    have to be huge. Thanks
I've got room in my freezer. They will be safe there.

they roam freely during the day but need somewhere at night. do they sleep walk then?
if they're fine during the day when they're awake then you'd expect them to be even safer when they're asleep.
