Hey, you got me all wrong!scheming_gypsy wrote: »are you for real? they don't trap them in a prison no more than taking a cat / puppy to the vets in a pet carrier. They're not 'trapped in a confined space' they're in the boot whilst being transported from one location to another, ie from the home to the park and back.
A car is still a confined space so are you saying dogs shouldn't be allowed in cars either? should all dog owners buy a winnebago so the dog thinks it's still at home whilst being transported to the park? or would that result in relocation stress?
I was talking about leaving a dog in a car!
nothing wrong with transporting it, i wasnt refering to the post about dog guard btw, you assumed it!
The PmiesterWell, I just got into town about an hour ago.

Irrespective of who said what about whatever, it just all reminds me its easy to get wires crossed in forums/not appreciate someone's else's humour/the point they were making.
This thread to me is just a light hearted look at some of the stranger wants and offereds in our freecycle groups, and enjoy some fun along the way.
Lets keep it light - and that includes me

.. sorry, couldn't resist.
find out why the pup is barking before you torture the !!!!!! out of it.
We have a Staffy and she can lay on the back seat with a rug on it or she can lay on the floor. We have a seat belt hook up with her harness which stops her getting in the front.
If you take a dog out in the car to go for a walk then the dog will come back in the same car (reasonable assumption) dog on walkies = dog with some dirt on it. so clear the bloody car later:mad: . or better still, just walk the dog, don't use the car, reduce your carbon footprint / save money on petrol

i agree then although it was easy enough to assume it as you quoted somebody talking about the dog guards.0 -
Hey i wasnt targeting that specific part of the post, just about leaving your dog in the car, and saying how cruel it is, not nessecarily them doing it.scheming_gypsy wrote: »i agree then although it was easy enough to assume it as you quoted somebody talking about the dog guards.
