Is there a point in writing descriptions?

I'd not buy something that had a half 4rsed description. I like to know all the ins and outs of what I'm buying, unless it's a very simple item.
e.g. if you are selling Duracell batteries, genuine, of a particular size, that's all I need to know .... but it's rare that I'd be looking for something with such a straight forward description.0 -
I usually find that it is English speakers, others tend to make more of an effort. Although I have received messages in French text speak, which despite me having a degree in French and lived there for a while was undecipherable.Goldiegirl wrote: »Being charitable, maybe some of these messages are from people whose first language isn't English..0
