  • Morning again :)

Having a bit of a slow morning, I've not slept too well the last few nights :(

Anyway, yesterday I was so agitated and fed up I had DH take me to town to collect parcels. I've bought the children PJs which they'll get on Christmas Eve as a gift, plus a DVD so we can snuggle on the sofa with popcorn and hot chocolate! I'm so excited!!!! I got baby a 'Mummy's Best Present' Christmas Red PJ, DS and DD are getting onesies!

This morning DD went crazy over her new bedding I got on facebay, great buy :)

Today DS has an appointment at the hospital, after I have an 1,5hr appointment to sort and pamper my feet! Wouldn't normally spend money on these things... But I feel like this was needed! I feel guilty spending money on myself :/

Anyway, DH is making HM Pizza while I'm out :)

I have more bread to make today, plus pizza dough. Yesterday's bread to slice, washing to do... And lots of it!

Hope Everyone has a great day x

Letter written, signed and posted. Fingers crossed and please send strong, coping vibes to my eldest son x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Morning all,

quite out of it today, and the steady rain and gloom outside isn't helping.

Giving myself the injection I started crying, not for the jab but the TV was showing a piece about the Korean war in a lead up to Remembrance Sunday. So sad. I was glad DH was at work. I think I'd better take vitamins.

Must go food shopping this afternoon, we've been eating up the cupboards and freezer and have finally run out of cereal, cheese and jam, we're on the last of the milk, coffee, spread and flour. Oh, and we're down to 3 loo rolls

I think I'll sew today as tomorrow/Sunday I'm at the markers' conference and then it's head down and start working for money again.

JO - mouth stitches: ouch! x
Hilstep - fingers crossed for Monday :)
I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.
  • Morning all,

Semi bright here this morning, stripped bed and got that pegged out.
We are away for the weekend just outside Oxford for neice's Wedding, as we were packing last night I noticed DS2 had a big weeping sore bit on his tummy. Turns out his belt rubs, so I've been out this morning to buy another one that doesn't have the hard metal bits on it! I wish I'd known sooner. Silly boy.

One of my teeth has started to nag this morning, just hope it doesn't get worse and spoil the weekend. Talking of teeth, JackieO I hope your mouth feels more normal soon. I think there is nothing worse than your mouth/face hurting.

Right must do some hoovering. Is it just me or does everyone else have to leave the house clean and tidy when going away. DH says it's so that potential burglars don't think we are dirty!!

    Enjoy the weekend.
  • Bore da all,

Im so late this morning, took last night off work so I could rest & get things done today then Mickey cat wanted to go out at 2 & Dibble cat at 6! Didnt feel fair waking DH as he had to be up for work but I dont think as much as I thought will be getting done today.

WM on and will get Christmas cake done but also wanted to go to phone shop to get new phone set up, tried ringing them but no reply & last time I called on spec. there was a 1 hour wait! Have tried googling instructions but dont have IT degree so call into the shop it is!

Off I run to shower, big hugs to all who struggle - you're not alone folks. xxx

It's a job I hate so will have push myself to do it .

Might go shopping this aft if I can be bothered to do a shopping list

I made bread last night and dd2 made flapjack . Over half of both has gone already :o:eek: so will need to make more

redruby. Hope work goes well and DD soon feels better , bless her xx

JO hope the pain soon subsides xx

  • Hello all
Perdidilling down here and I had done a load of washing before it started :( DH went and got it all in bless him, so it is on airers at the moment with the windows open. When the washing isn't so wet I will put it on the heated airer.
Not enough there to warrant getting DH to take it up to the launderette to dry it and you have to factor in the cost of the diesel and the cost of the dryer.

Molly I am glad that you have written that letter, lots of positive vibes winging their way to you and hopefully he will be home for Christmas x

I got a half price box of crackers from Aldi yesterday :) only cheap ones but they will do for when the outlaws come, I already have some good ones that I bought in the January sales
The cake is being made this weekend, I am so late doing it this year what with one thing and another.

Two hospital appointments next week one on Monday and one on Wednesday then another on the 21st and I have to make a podiatry appointment, to see if my toes are healed enough to have the orthotics fitted to my shoes. Plus I have a bit of a sore tooth so a dentist appointment is in the offing :( Of all of the things that I have wrong with me I hate going to the dentist the most.

Liver and bacon hotpot tonight which I am looking forward to.

    BFN x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

    Afternoon Everyone,

I'm a bit late today, don't know where the morning went as I didn't accomplish anything :(

Anyway, Frog is currently asleep although not sure for how much longer :o, the WM is on, clean and dry washing folded and put away.

We're off to playgroup after lunch which is always fun but also exhausting as she just runs about like mad for 90 mins and then I have to try and get her to sit still for the singing :rotfl:

We're having sausages and mash for dinner, Frog is having a meatball and veg for her dinner plus whatever else she can cadge out of me in the meantime.

Oops, just got a call from the Midwife, I missed an appointment at 9.45 this morning  I knew I had an appointment but couldn't remember when as I had neglected to write it down. Lesson learnt, I shall note them down in future.

When I was pregnant with Frog I could tell you almost to the minute how far along I was and when my next appointment was etc, this time? Can't remember anything :( Oh well, I have been instructed to go along for 4pm ... best not forget my wee sample or I'll really be in trouble ;)

Hope you all have good Fridays xxx
