2x B&Q own units - both do the job and they were cheap - in the old house we had one in the lounge which worked periodically - emptied about once a week, one by the bedroom - emptied about every other day. Most condensation stopped so works well.

We have that one and it takes a lot of water out of the atmospher but it is a compressor type.

It lives upstairs and we have to have it on a timer so that it will not come on at night.

(If it should fail we would have no problem in replacing it with the same model)
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.
