I do try to get one day ahead but find it hard to keep up

Having false end dates would not help as you still need to find the same amount of time to enter them but keeping the correct end date gives people a chance to enter that would be lost if an earlier false one was used.

I try and do all the time ones the day before and I'm not trying to be 'mean' I was just as you say posting my opinion that people get a monopoly of posting comps and dont put an end time on , surely I'm allowed ?

Of course you are allowed but the simple solution is not to enter on the last day unless it is an emergency.
Instead of any changes being required just treat the competitions as closing on the day before the given date.

(For the itv ones I would suggest using the forum search to pick up and enter them as they are posted).

I enter the day before it ends but am sometimes caught out with ones ending at midnight

Of course, I could do them a few days before they end, but my RL stuff comes first

I do apologize to the people posting the comps , sorry I moaned and I really do appreciate the time and effort taken to post the comps in the first place
