I have one of those too but 'she' comes and goes! She usually sits on my 'bad' wrist. The doctor says a ganglion is just fluid, which can be drained, but many often the ganglion will come back because the fluid just seeps back through the weak tissues. You can whack them with something hard to flatten them - but I wouldn't recommend as your lump is just replaced with a blue bruise! :eek: (I speak from experience!) I call my Gertrude the Ganglion - she has disappeared just now but I bet she'll pop up for the Advents :rotfl:

Thank you Mclarkie! I had no idea you could switch the Windows mouse settings...I shall go and have a look. I did have a half hearted attempt at using the mouse in my left hand but I have no patience and ended up having a prize hissy fit :eek:

Thank you very much all for the advice xx I think I will definitely try that mouse Softpad and if that doesn't work I'll go to the docs. But...if he says you have to rest it I might have to ask him to pop round and do some comping for me!
