Well it's going ok training is ongoing etc but he didn't understand that he has a zero hour contract!!!
He just keeps saying yes but she said she will give me 40 hours etc. so whilst he is happy and has a job, trying to get him to fully take in that zero hours means they can just not give him work if they are quiet etc and that having a zero hour contract means he can't get a new flat or new mobile etc etc but as I say for now things are ok and he is happy. Eating sleeping and looking after himself, spending time with us talking etc so best left as is for now.

Thank you I thought he should at least get himself in the system then the rest will work itself through.

Yes he gave up the job before he was sacked. Sadly he just couldn't see the wood from the trees and let it all get on top of him.

I can only hope he has learned a lesson and you can be sure I won't be making him too comfortable!!

make your mind up, you go from saying he was ill because of the stress at work and the high targets they were setting, then say he couldn't see the wood for the trees and you won't be making him too comfortable...by you sound a lovely mother.

Sniggings I should have put a smiley after the last comment.

Yes it's subway but at least it's work.

He is now doing well in himself and eating better sleeping well and talking more and really beginning to realise how it all spiralled down.

Best wishes to you all - even adult kids are hard work sometimes, but it's good when they sort themselves out and start afresh.

You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
  • And you DO sound like a lovely mum! :)
