I can't speak for everyone but in our case it is because we own properties but no gas drilling rigs.

Unless you own about 1.1 homes or more you do not benefit
And most people don't own that many

In fact about 10 million households (with about 25 million pepple in them) do not benifit at all. About 15 million households are neutral where proces dont impact much positive or negative.

Only about two million households venofit and this is the households that own 2+ homes woth some owning 1000+

We own more than 1 (I did say I can't speak for everyone but in our case.....)

Being a homeowner in Bristol I see that as bad news. A nice steady inflation matching rise would be fine but anything else will just make it harder for the young people around here trying to get on the ladder. Makes me almost want to go and buy a couple of BTL's to lock in the prices for my kids!

We own 9 (I did say I can't speak for everyone but in our case.....)

The country needs to be run for the good of the majority not the minority

~10 million households do not own any property
~17.5 million households own just their one home

Less than 1 million households own multiple homes and benefit

That means 97% of the population have no benifit or are harmed while 3% benifit from HPI and as such 400.000 homes a year should be built to meet demand

Of course it does! But I don't run the country, I only run my own financial affairs!

Yeah but even living in my mums box room and having no valid opinions I managed to find a girlfriend and I don't even have to pay her to be with me! She was born female as well.

I fail to see what me reporting house price rises has to do with my GF.

She isn't a ladyboy either. If I was with one I would say. Let's be honest. Both Thai choices would be more attractive than who you live with.

    That's a fact you can't argue with.

Sure, I pay mine a monthly salary but so will you if you ever get married.

I wouldn't swop places with you. That I promise

    Let's have it right.

    This was a war.
HPC wanted prices to crash at all costs. When they thought they had it right. Do you remember them saying?

    All home owners were sheeple

Prices would drop up to 90% haha

When the Xmas credit card bill comes in they will be on the street

I'm going to offer under 50% then gazunder them down another 20%

No more house parties listening to how much their house went up

I tried to tell them. They didn't listen. I'm so clever.

    Etc etc etc.

Well, HPC. You got it badly wrong.
Now you are the muppets and look like Coco the clown.

It's over. Finished. Now we are putting the boot into you. It's our right.

    So sad.

Can't you get any help over there?

Will make almost no difference, just acts as another pull factor.

The roads are choc a bloc in the SE, another 13 million added to the population is going to make some aspects of life hellish, property demand being one of them.

Immigration will far outstrip emigration - the pro migrant lobby always claim it will even out.

Do you have a source for this?

I would have thought a higher percentage own more than one place. Fairly normal here n(my area) for people to let to buy - are they even captured in official stats? Also plenty of people we know have a holiday cottage in Dorset or Suffolk.

Nearly every Asian, Greek, Turk or African client of mine owns more than one property - it's just what they do, they don't have this pension thing the way indigenous Brits do.

It has nothing whatsoever to do with it. You're trolling the forum and I'm taking the !!!! out of you by way of retaliation using information that you freely gave on here (as opposed to the nonsense you're making up about me). I wouldn't generally take the !!!! out of someone, its not really my style, but I made an exception for you because you come across as a thoroughly dislikeable individual.
