The boiler has a digital readout and shows 1.1bar...0

that's the pressure in your heating system not the pressure of the mains coming into your houseI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -

that's the reason you need to get someone in to test, if your previous "installer" couldn't answer your questions, then as i said time for a new oneI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.

Get a competent RGI/plumber in to advise.0 -
Looking at the water pressure figures of Water Companies in the UK a figure of 10L pmin seemed like the average depending where your property is located. According to Scottish Water. Having said that it would seem that the amount of hot water our boiler of just under 9L pmin was the best that it could produce.
So it would seem that the best course of action would be what was kindly suggested by Ditwhynot ..
Unvented cylinder running off the your combi with suitable shower mixer/head e.g. Mira. Find a RGI who has the appropriate experience and a G3 ticket.

Looking at the suggested Mira site I see that the Mira Pumps can deliver 32L of water per-min, would this call for a water cylinder to be installed.
I am afraid that I am going through a Senior Moment try to work how where the volume of water is coming from, excuse me for appearing a little dumb.

If you add an unvented cylinder to your current setup (and you need to determine whether you have sufficient mains pressure and flow rate for that option to work) you will not need a shower pump. You would use a thermostatic shower mixer suitable for high pressure. I suggest you have a look here.0
