Best Internet car dealer

I intend buying a new Ford C Max in the near future. Have had a good trawl through the web dealers recommended on this site - quite a good range of prices.

I visited two local Ford dealers yesterday to get info on the upgrades to the car. I have to say that both dealers didn't seem the slightest bit interested in selling me a car !

I would be interested in anyone who has had any dealings with Broadspeed.com ? or has anyone been really impressed with the service they got from another internet dealer ?

Many thanks in advance.

You need to wait until after 2nd July to look at deals on this as the model has just been relaunched in quarter 2 so there's only dealer discount on them which max's out at 10%, Ford are due to announce thier new quarter 3 bonuses to dealers applicable for cars registered July-Sept' at the end of this month and they might make some marketing bonus available on that model...so its' worth holding off for 2 weeks to see if they might.

Never order a car at the end of a calendar quarter as all the current bonuses are about to expire, order at the start of the quarter so you have plenty of time to factory-order if you need to during that bonus period. There's isn't much CMax stock at the moment so you're better off ordering exactly what you need.

When deciding on internet price offers, first decide if you want to be 1st owner or 2nd owner, as its often hard to tell what the deal is just by looking at websties if wording is 'woolly'.

Can you provide an unregistered new vehicle without VAT for a Channel Islands customer?

    Same thing happened to me.
Local dealers didn`t want to know and would not even come close to the internet price (www.autobytel.com)

Can only assume they think internet customers are few and far between and they can afford to ignor them.

We used Broadspeed to buy a Mondeo 2 years ago. Very impressed - couldn't fault them. They took away the old car in p/ex for reasonable price.
The car we got was pre-reg so make sure you are aware of that.
Ask if you want more details!
  • MPLEP: I'm afraid not - mainland franchised dealers cannot provide vat-free registrations on new cars. Our cars are normal new 1st owner deals from normal main franchised dealers....so they have to register the car with VAT.

Dealers not registering cars using standard VAT practices cannot get paid their manufacturer bonuses and the deals wouldn't count towards targets, so the manuf'rs have Export Depts at their UK HQ's to deal with customers who need delivery excluding VAT elsewhere....try through there - depending on which brand you want.

    Hope that helps.

  • Yes ..us! It says all over our website...you are First and Only Registered owner!

We simply act as quoting agents for a number of dealers and motor groups, you don't pay us a penny.

Our deals are normal cars from normal main franchised dealers, we simply direct your order to one of the main dealers offering the discount rather than ones in your local area who are not....the car is delivered to your door (mainland Eng/Wales)

    Carfile was way over priced.
    EXAMPLE
    Peugeot 407 Coupe
    2.2 Sport 2dr

    Carfile price £19,530.00
My price after email loads of dealers direct £17675 on the road and delivered.

My girlfriend has just ordered a new Fiat Panda from broadspeed. The service seems really great and we got a 27% discount on list price. £7400 for a high spec diesel.

There's a 12 week waiting list for them. Roll on September.
