I love to know what the outcome is. I have a simular PCN at Humerside Airport.

You'll need to get on with dealing with it, not waiting for the outcome of this. Time is of the essence for you. Often posters don't come back with any feedback, despite the extensive efforts of regulars in helping them through their problem.

    Hi,

Just so your aware, my case is still pending. POPLA said it would be around 10th Feb for the hearing of my case, so not long left.

I will update you all on the out come as soon as i find out. You guys have been a massive help and i really appreciate every bit of help i have received.
  • Hi guys,

I'm still waiting to here back with the outcome of my appeal to POPLA. They said my hearing date would be on or around the 10th February but its now nearly the 19th. How long does VCS have before they have to give the evidence to POPLA?
  • I would email rreeve@popla.org.uk and advise you have not received any evidence from vcs yet

  • It's the POPLA outcome i'm waiting for. They said the hearing for my case would be the 10th Feb. It's now the 20th and I've heard nothing. What i want to know is, how long do VCS have to give their evidence to POPLA for the case?

POPLA might wait a couple of weeks beyond the suggested date and then if no VCS evidence received they'll find in your favour soon. But we've seen cases where VCS sent their evidence to POPLA but no copy to the appellant (which is wrong). So just email enquiries @POPLA and ask the status?

  • Thanks, ill give them an email.
  • Thanks for your reply JesterA1 - I would think in this case - no news is good news!
I have sent a simular appeal and am also waiting.
  • Hi guys,

I sent an email to POPLA asking for the status of my case and received a reply today.

A decision has not yet been made for this case.

Although we provide a date when your case will fall into a list to be considered, please be aware that this is the date that your case will be placed before the Assessor and may not actually be the date that your case will be decided.

Please be assured that your decision will be dispatched as soon as it is available.
    Kind Regards

    Hi guys,

I have received my evidence from VCS through POPLA on the 13th March but only just found it as it had gone to my junk box lol.

I've had a look through it and seen their excuses for it being justified. For the costs they have tried to blame the maintenance of their hardware and machinery and the time its taken them to make letters to myself and the dvla etc. and the time for reviewing cctv and logging my replys and appeals. So i don't think they have anything solid there.

for the signage they have taken a picture of the road where a sign is and marked on the road that my car was next to this sign but in the picture of my car you can clearly see i was not in that location so dont know what thats all about.

also POPLA have sent my appeal which i made to POPLA to VCS which has got my email, mobile number and my new address which im not happy about. Is this a breach of data protection from POPLA because i have not give and did not want VCS having my new address (i am still able to retrieve post from my old address) my mobile number or my email address.

and lastly how long now roughly until POPLA make a decision?

    Thanks
