1- I have said what I wanted to say on the other thread.

2- Please highlight the text in the link that says the child was left unsupervised with the dog.0 -
Do not understand why so many comments under the article mention this was a rescue dog when the article does not say that. It only says French Mastif cross plus that it was with the family for 4 weeks only. In one place as family pet, in another that they were looking after the dog for a friend.
What a terrible tragedy - WHY would someone allow a small child like that with a massive unknown (you can not get to know a dog in 4 weeks) dog - from the photos it is clear the child had no fear of a dog and it was way too close way too soon...
Such a tragedy...0 -

I take it then that you can't back up your post with a quote from your link. Ok, you just keep making it up then and telling people that question you to get lost.0 -

Sadly this appears to be a rescue rehoming. Terribly tragic, hard to stop the tears when reading this article. All 3 were victims. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.
If you quote me, don't forget the capital 'M'

There are various versions in various articles but the end result.. a child dead, a dog dead, what a terrible thing to happen....
I know quite a few FM and they are all so laid back, slow and friendly... What on earth happened there? Why?

Could be a number of things, medical reason ie brain tumour, fireworks been going on here all day.. could have been the same in that area, scared dog flips... dog perhaps not properly assessed with kids, kid pokes dog, dog goes crazy.
It's a shame and what really is the solution ?? I really don't know.
