Baileys Watch 2013

It is very nice yes. But it just isn't quite Baileys itself. It hasn't got the subtlety of Baileys in terms of taste and the alochol content is 14.5% compared to Baileys 17%.
If I didn't know Baileys existed I'd be happy drinking this all the time, but Baileys is just a good bit nicer so I prefer it.
It's certainly worth you buying a bottle and trying for £4.29 for a 70cl bottle (£6.13 per litre).0 -
I bought a couple of 70cl bottles from Aldi's own version for £4.49 today - half the price of the current Asda offer on Baileys. I originally picked up the premium product which is 17% alcohol and retails at ?£6.49, but being the money saver that I am, I thought I could always add a slug of whiskey to the standard product if it wasn't strong enough. Will crack into it this evening when I put up some decorations.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I am a bit of a Irish Cream conoisser (or however u spell it!!)
When it comes to looking at cheaper Baileys alternatives the ones with wine in are nowhere near the same quality or taste. Look for ones that have the same ingredients - tescos finest, sainsburys and Morrisons all have Baileys 'copies' which do not contain wine. They are a bit more expensive than the lidl/aldi etc versions however not as expensive as Baileys and taste wise you can hardly tell the difference. I did a taste challenge on my sister who loves Baileys and she couldnt tell the difference between tescos own and Baileys :beer:0 -
I have had my own personal revelation this evening - have been enjoying a good glass of "Baileys" every evening for the last week or so, so finished the bottle of Aldi's off within 3 nights. Was a bit shocked that this is actually 10 times the recommend serving size! - albeit still only 3 units of alcohol.
The killer fact is that 100ml of Baileys is 327kcal. So I have been drinking over 800 kcals per night!:eek::eek:Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

Co-Op currently selling 70cl Original and Biscotti flavours for £9. Not the greatest deal but still decent and more for those who want Biscotti and maybe have trouble finding it.0

It seems that in most of the major supermarkets the baileys has all gone up to original price.

Clothes Golden Rule: Never pay full price unless it is an utter bargain in the first place!
