I'm on wheels and live in Glasgow.

I get working tax credits with a disability element, my DLA levels stayed the same and I also got an access to work grant for adaptions to my work place (special chair, screen, push button door and grab rails), plus I get a % of taxi fares refunded because I can't use the bus/train alone.

    thanks for sharing,

i thought access ro work pay for all your transport to and from work if you cant use public transport?
    or is it income related?

how much of your cab fares are paid for, if you dont mind sharing

I PMd you. Access to work deduct the public transport cost from the taxi award or if you have your own car they work it out in mileage.
