Being an employed disabled person, am i entitled to anything?

having recently started employment and being disabled in a wheelchair i am curious whether there are any benefits offered to disabled workers ?
i went for years keeping my disability confiendtial and not requesting any help, financial or otherwise and in hindsight realise i should have taken every opportunity offered to me
i read about a form of tax credit allowance but is there anything else worth looking into?
thanks

How many hours to you work and how much do you earn? Do you already claim DLA?0

22k, yes i receive DLA, work 40 hours per week,
i understand i will receive some tax credits,
i am grateful of what i get so far but want to make the most of what im entitled to0 -
Do you NEED to claim anything else? Do you have costs that can't be met from your wage?
22k plus DLA is a good deal in itself.0 -
Are you aware of the access to work scheme?
https://www.gov.uk/access-to-workBut a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

And you know that how?
Do you know where the OP lives?
Do you know how much more expensive living costs may be for disabled people?
Or is this an arbitrary comment based on nothing more than your experience/thinking because the world revolves around you?0 -

I think it was a relevant question/comment, did you read it? I will rewrite it for you 'Do you have costs that cant be met from your wage' Fair question.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0 -

Yeah paddedjohn - best skip over the first question and obvious emphasis as well as the judgemental last...0 -
Im sorry but the first question anyone should ask before trying to get benefits is 'do I need this money' not 'how much can I get just so I can have more.' Benefits are there to help people not to feather nests.Be Alert..........Britain needs lerts.0

'Should'? There are lots of agencies that promote claiming what one is entitled to.
'Should' is a value judgement. You or I may or may not agree on what individuals 'should' do, but if there is an entitlememt, then there's an entitlement.0
