It's about four packs of President butter. You don't have to eat it all in one go and you need to look at your nutritional intake across your whole diet. No point in simply avoiding butter, but then taking in sat fats in other forms (ready made meals and other processed foods being the prime culprits).
I only eat butter - afterall, it only has one ingredient (two if you buy salted, which I don't - purely for taste reasons.)
Look at the list of ingredients in so-called "healthy" spreads. And they usually add synthetic vitamins, which are naturally present in butter.
These are the ingredients of a Pure Sunflower Dairy-Free Spread:
Sunflower oil
Water (!!!!!!!)
Palm oil
Flaxseed oil
Emulsifier (Mono and Diglycerides of Sunflower Fatty Acids) *
Vit E
Vit A
Colouring (Natural Colouring) !!!!!!
Vit D
Vit B12
* Hydrogenated oils!!!
Better than butter?Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac0 -
I dunno , its very high in satuated fats
The fats in butter are more easierly digested and burnt up by the body than ones found in marg,These are natural fats what are from the milk itself, not a whole heap of chemicals and a blend of many veg oils.
You may find a book called "The Savvy Shopper" by "Rose Prince" very good at telling you whats exactly in your foods and how the food process works, and effects certain foods can have on your body.

If I understand correctly the Nectar points coupons are not scanned at the till but sent somewhere and the points are added later. When you buy butter I would try handing it over to see if the checkout assistant just accepts it and doesn't bother checking you have spent the £4.
Your right the nectar vouchers are sent to nectar and added within 3-4 weeksNo Links in Signature by site rules - MSE Forum Team 20
