hi, i hope someone can help me.
my teenage son went over his minutes in september and i had to pay an extra £60 on top of my normal bill in october, so i checked to see online if he had gone over for october and he had by £25 not including vat. so i rang t-mobile to cancel his contract and instead was offered an upgrade of more minutes for no extra cost as my other son was entitled to an upgrade and could have a discount, so my bill each month would be the same.
when i logged on to my account the next day my unbilled usage had shot up to £154 exc vat ! i rang them and was told cant do anything untill the bill is generated and to ring back, which i did to ask them to recalculate my bill which was £250 for the month.
so i rang them today as i hadnt heard anything and was told that they didnt know why it had gone from £24 to £154 in 24 hours.
then something in my brain clicked and i asked if the charges were because i changed the contract half way through the month and she said "yes, were you not informed of this when you upgraded" NO or i would have waited untill the end of the month to upgrade! now she is asking the billing department to look at the charges again but cant say if i will have to pay or not.
what should i do? wait for them to get back to me or complain in writing that i should have been informed of the pro rata charges, can i cancel the upgrade and if i do will it go back to the old contract ?

Don't hold your breath waiting for them to get back to you. They won't.
Complain in writing [STRIKE]and to Vodafone web reps here that probably are the only few people in Voda's CS that can do something rational.[/STRIKE]
And, please, start using 'Shift' keys or replace your keyboard if it's faulty.
EDIT: T-mobile's CS is now not much different from Voda's, possibly even worse, but unlike for Voda I can't vouch that they won't get back to you.0 -
Can't see why Voda would help with a T-Mobile issue.0

Lee has been known to work the odd miracle on here but I think it's asking too much even for him
