Offer in what way? do you want to buy it?

5 magic beans maybe? but you will need to trade a cow to get the beans.

It will make a fine basic PC, web and office should run fine. as it is a P4 you can get away with 256mb of memory but I would recomend wipeing and reinstalling windows from scratch to get the best out of it and if you come accross some extra memory for it upgrade the memory at some point. as for the value, not a lot really I get given PC's of similar spec and I clean them up and flog them on for £50 tops mainly to cover the time I spend working on them. and the fact I know I will get plenty of phone calls asking for support.

Its up to you then, a dvd writer is only £20 even less. I would look at knocking him down a bit £60 at the tops.
  • Wow, Little John, you're getting £50 for the old 'puters!? And there was me giving them away on Freecycle...

What's your secret? Do you fill the hard drives on those systems you flog with some of those mamories you talk about? :p

(Sorry LJ, that was just too good a typo to not to make fun of it :D)

I'd offer £52 and say that's the absolute best I can do. That gives the impression you're not fixated on a certain price and makes the seller think that you are offering as much as you can afford to offer.

Note to self: I must stop watching Relocation, Relocation :rotfl:
The true cost of something is what you give up to get it.

I'd have thought that £50 was pretty generous tbh, especially for a nice, quick, easy sale.

50 quid is more than worth it on that box.

We have had all geenrations of those here at work. Pretty reliable.

If he wants £75, see if he will throw some more ram or a lrge HD in there for you.

Mate, it really depnds on your needs and what you are using it for, but NO ONE can grumble at paying 50 for that spec!!
