I thought I read somewhere that changes had been made to the One plan and that the unlimited option of tethering had been removed.
Glad I appear to be wrong.
Hopefully 4G tethering will also be unlimited0 -
when I was looking at the t&c on the back of my daughters one plan bill I noticed it says something about unlimited meaning 30GB which is huge but if anyone is thinking of doing a lot of downloading using it, they might come a cropper as 4G will obviously mean you can reach that total that much more quickly0

Hmm on rereading her bill it actually says in the 'Answering your Questions' section (so not T&C).
"if any of your allowances are 'all you can eat', for the purposes of this section we treat them as being either 3000 minutes, 5000 texts or 25GB of data so that we can determine a unit cost.
So not 30GB as I misremembered (sorry should check these things before rattling away ) but if you think about it ,what they are actually saying is ..that is a reasonable assumption for an all you can eat monthly allowance.
That is pretty good value for around £15 a month considering you can tether for that price also but I think if it was my tariff I would be keeping an eye on the data usage if it was anywhere near the amount stated unless there is something in T&C that specifically says unlimited means ad infinitum and not just fair use.0 -

You've read that wrong. They are using 25GB to work out a unit cost. Not as a fair use policy.
There is no fair use policy on the one plan. I know that to be 100% fact. Mainly because i've actually seen a list of the highest users on the one plan.0 -

Im muddled about why they would mention a unit cost and show an amount of calls ,texts or data in that case as the bills always state zero for each item anyway unless it is outside the quota as in the case of certain telephone numbers .0 -
The unit cost will be for three's use to calculate pricing for the plans they offer. The one plan (all you can eat data) is only limited by how much the handset can download in a month.0
