Best Package for Phone/Internet/TV

I currently have Sky installed and I have a deal with them for the Fibre broadband and phoneline, we have multiroom x3 and a full subscription and I'm really at a loss when I recently reviewed my direct debits why exactly I'm paying so much. I pay around £100 p/month and that was as a result of my last haggling session.
Is there better deals anyone has got or do I just do the good old fashioned cut back on the services?
Kids like Disney channel and don't want to lose sky, but I want to save a few pounds, has anyone got any good recommendations...I'm not in the area for virgin cable?

Is paying £1,200 plus £145 TV licence a year for your Sky TV worth it, only you can decide.
Do you need sports movies etc?
The best deal is to cancel the lot. Try pulling out your viewing cards for a week and see how you get on.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I'd suggest finding someone who you are on good terms with, who has got Sky full package, by a tablet, and install Sky Go. You get to have access all the channels, but don't have to pay SKY - would suggest bunging your friend a few quid though. Not sure whether its strictly allowed tbh, but your friend could register an ipad for example which happens to be used at your house.
Other than that, you could ditch the whole thing, and subscribe to some of the lower cost streaming services (including Sky movies) which would set you back less than £15-£20 per month. The kids will get used to it - LoveFilm £4.99, NetFlix £5.99?, Sky Now multi channel plus movies £14 ish etc. Then get a package for phone, unlimited broadband, and anytime calls which is easy to get for under £30. Make that a 50% saving and still plenty to watch. If you watch a lot of the live sports you'll miss out, but I got used to it eventually.0 -

Regardless, using someone else's SkyGo is hardly a reasonable alternative for someone who currently has three multi-room subscriptions as well as broadband and 'phone.0 -
Since you have to have the, punters, username and password to use Sky Go, you can control their account💥That gum you like is coming back in style.0

Remember to change their channel from your own house while they watch their TV in their own house. Chaos!0 -

I agree it'd be a friend indeed who allowed someone else to access their SkyGo account!
In addition, I'm not sure the OP's family would be keen to huddle around an iPad (or similar) when they've been used to multiple full size TV screens around the house.0 -
If the friend is your mum (mums are best), and you link an i-pad or laptop to the TV (which is easy) , it isn't too hard to solve all your problems. I should know.
Technically, don't think it is fraud, as Sky allow you to link up to 2 devices as a minimum. How are they to know whether the subscriber is watching at home or round your house on their registered device.
The Sky go user can only access the stream from sky, not control other devices, or change channels on any other user. They do need to use the subscribers user name and password to register the device though. When I mentioned this scenario at work, found out 2 other people in our office were doing the same, and there's only 15 of us.0 -

It's shocking to see how much it is in a year when you see a post like that, never really gave it much thought until recently, a week without tv, sure it can do no harm lol0
