Leaving Sky, can I do anything with the box?

Hi everyone,I have just had to cancel Sky, as I am moving house and I don't think I can get a dish at my new place. I'm glad to be able to save the money!
I believe I will own the Sky+ box. Is there anything I can do with it?
I'm thinking of getting a Freeview Recorder so not sure how that ties in with the Sky+ box, if at all!
Sorry, I'm normally quite good at technical things, but I just can't get my head around this!!!
Thanks for any help you can give!

Without a dish your Sky box is useless, flog it.
For freeview with Sky + like features you will need an aerial, and a Freview or YouView PVR.That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
Depending on the age of the Sky+ box, it might not be worth a lot.0

If its not an HD+ box-not worth anything.0
