They are still waiting - I am in email contact with this poster and POPLA do still have this in the pile for the Lead Adjudicator to consider...this has been recently chased up as well. Also another one - where a disabled OP deliberately tried an Equality Act 2010 argument with my help (and lost) - is also awaiting the same consideration. It ain't over till it's over - so neither of these are down as losses IMHO!

I think a previous one where the Lead Adjudicator had to review it took 8 months or so!

lesnmandy won! I am sure they will want to post the final outcome of the POPLA review.

Our 100% record remains intact except for B1rdie at Hull Docks v PPS which wasn't worth counting as she has also complained to POPLA and she wasn't the driver or the keeper so that was a perfect test case and she was able to tell them 'tough, I'm not liable so you've missed that fact too!'. PPS need a certain sort of wording to make sure POPLA don't fall for their lies (and they are lies) and UKCPM just temporarily got lucky this time with lesnmandy...not for long!

In a popla appeal against the same company and with the same signage, is it worth referencing this case to avoid the assessor making the same error or was the op just very unlucky?

I would indeed reference this decision which was code 9663053967 reviewed by POPLA after a complaint to the Lead Adjudicator, on 19th June (OK to quote the number in your appeal, as the case is done and dusted!). lesnmandy have said the deciison won on 'no GPEOL' after all - as it should have done all along with that sign. In your appeal, Gemlou, use some of the arguments I listed on this thread previously in lesnmandy's complaint to POPLA.

If you want to discuss your case further please revert to your own thread.

lesnmandy are happy to share the info and the Prankster might be interested in blogging about this one because the BPA also mucked up when the OP complained about debt collector letters. There's a story here about the BPA 'POPLA Liaison Officer' not doing her job i.e. 'liaising with POPLA!

I think lesnmandy will post the full decision from POPLA here shortly, and can share the BPA farce with everyone as well. It's a good story and the right result.

Thank you very much for the advice. I am about to post what I think is the final draft of my appeal on my own thread, I'd really appreciate it if you would cast your eye over it before I send it off. Sorry to hijack this one. Congratulations to lesnmandy.

Didn't know if you'd seen this or even whether it means anything. http://www.popla.org.uk/statement_28-01-14.htm
