Sky mis-selling?

Hi
If Sky sold me an HD package on the basis that it was cancellable at any time with one month's notice (which is correct as it's not part of a normal contractual subscription service), then they actually tie you in to a 12 month contract, have they missold and if so, does this fall under FSA or any other type of regulations?
I then spent 9 months and various phone calls getting to the bottom of it and being owed almost £90 in payments that I should have made as I had tried to terminate the HD months and months prior. They chose to 'refund' by crediting the £90 to my account which I was also fairly miffed about - that's £90 I'd overpaid unnecessarily and I think I should have at least been offered the option for it to come back into my bank account, from whence it came. Somehow I feel I've sorted the situation, yet at the same time I don't feel I've got my money back (if you know what I mean!).
Any advice/thoughts greatly appreciated.
