Very low microphone volume when using VOIP

Options
I've just setup Voipstunt on my new Dell Dimension E520 having used the same program with no problems on my previous computer (Dell Dimension 3000).

The problem is that when I make a call now, the other person can barely hear me.

I can't find settings to change this and I can't figure out how else to adjust the microphone volume levels at my end.

The microphone is still the same one as before which worked fine (Labtec).

Any ideas??

Thanks!

Double click the speaker Icon by the PCs clock, then, Options, Properties, Recording and then slide up the Mic volume control, and if their is an advanced button then enable Mic Boost, then OK all the way out or exit.

Also make sure it's plugged into the mic (red socket), not the "line in"

It's in the pink one with the microphone symbol above it.

No, you told them to click on the speak icon by the clock, they like myself, don't have the speaker icon there (I got rid).

Make sure the mic is plugged into the right socket, make sure the speaker volume is set high, then in the VoIPStunt program 'Tools' 'Options' 'Sound Devices' ensure that the microphone is selected probably just the name of your sound card and that 'Enable automated volume control' is un-ticked.
