Longest Pay&Go without TopUp ?
Hi,
In which network your SIM stays active without Topping Up for longest period of time. Ive got Ovivo card but I'd like to have my main number (dual sim phone) in bigger (safer) network - mainly for receiving calls.
Theres THREE 321 tarrif - but I cannot use THREE network as secondary sim on dual sim phone
GiffGaff - Ive read that you need to make 1 call or text every 6 month to keep card active.
How about other networks as I cant google it ? Virgin, T-Mobile, Vodafone, 02, Orange etc ?

None of the networks require periodic top-ups to maintain validity of the SIM card or credit.
Nearly all UK networks require a change in the balance every six months (or 180 days). The most notable exceptions are Lycamobile (90 days in all the countries in which it operates) and White Mobile (60 days).
In practice, many networks will keep your SIM card and credit active without a change in the balance, particularly if they receive revenue, for example an incoming call, but this is not guaranteed.0 -

We have a Three PAYG SIM that has *never* had any credit, but it does receive calls which seems to have kept it alive for the last 3 or 4 years.0
