Maybe you need to be looking carefully at your finances to figure out how you've managed to blow £500 you should have been spending on insurance then, and exactly where that money has gone.
Your insurer isn't responsible for your budgeting of your money, if they haven't been charging you through a fault at their end then you're the one that has (should have) done well out of it as you've had that interest-free money sitting in your account not being taken, if it's no longer there because you spent it on something else instead that, basically, is your problem.0 -
Could have been much worse, could have been going for a longer period and you would have had to pay more.0
