Ticket prices next year

Does anyone know if airline prices for next year will be very different from this year?
I have seen some good deals but don't know if it is because I am looking earlier or because prices are going to be lower. Any ideas?

It is a guess but most commentators think business should pick up next year, if that is the case then fares are likely to rise . There may be exceptions where a new competitor comes into the market on a specific route but other things being equal, fares will be at least as high if not higher than last year.

The one obvious exception is Ryanair, their pricing was way too high at the start of selling summer 2013, their fares are lower as they do not want to have to discount nearer the date of departure as they did this summer
