I am guessing there are posters here from abroad as you sometimes read stories from Oz, the States etc...how about an International forum of some sort?

We are emigrating to Canada in a few weeks time and one of the things I will miss most is this site! How will I know where to shop for the best furniture deals? Who will help me find a present? Who will help me find the most relevent info about a new telly and who will help me through the maze of mortgages, bank accounts and insurance???

Everything financial I have investigated over the last few years has been with the quiet helping hand of Martin and this site. I am having withdrawals already and we haven't left yet

Are there any other International users out there?? Martin do you fancy becoming an international spokeman for the financially unsavvy? I reckon you could take this site and franchise your idea as a global entity.

Sooooo unless people from other countries cant get access then that would be a good idea, but they can as far as im aware, and anyway someone like Martin Lewis would have to do all the research as we have different bargains from any other country whether it be Gas, Electric or Bank Charges, someone would have to find out how theese institutions operate, so its probably a non-starter.

We could have a Canadian forum and I could moderate

And a volunteer to start an American forum....and a German forum....and a Spanish forum...

Or franchise the operation out and then have mse.ca mse.au etc....

I am just being selfish but trying to find a solution for me as well. I Know it is almost impossible but someday - ---- I may be the first franchise holder
