Not having any luck at the moment selling it. Wrong time of year. Only asking a few hundred over the "webuyanycar" price but no takers
If it's not selling, then it's overpriced. That is simple economics.
Priced right, it will sell.
You could sell a pink bubble car with green windows and yellow upholstery to a giant if the price is right."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
Because that would have made ALL the difference to these chancers!
Well as the regulars know I had a MK5 GTI, I put it up in the autotrader, I included the text above in the advert, never had one canvaser call, and only a couple or 4 of texters (which I didn't waste my time replying to), thankfully the 1st to see bought, sometimes as well the seller has to be fairly firm with the would be timewasters,
Usual questions asked, I list what is needed to be known in the advert, plus as I was not desperate for the money, then the silly question "what's the lowest you will accept?" is met with, view the car then make an offer if you wish.
I was semi worried as the winterish time is not necessarily the best time to try and sell at book price, advert went in on a Tuesday evening, 1st viewer Saturday morning and car purchased that same day.
But don't let the buyer do as if they are doing you a favour by taking it off your hands, you already purchased the car whilst it may have been a distant dream for them worrying about deprication. The last 4 cars I have sold have all been to the 1st viewer and within the Parkers price guide range. If you do want to entertain the chancers then ebay or such like where the viewers often want everything for nothing.0
