Huge bill after watching netflix

At the very least, the networks should charge a pro-rata price per unit for any usage over the bundle's allowance. It is unreasonable to charge at a higher rate than this, particularly where larger bundles are available at an even lower average price per unit.
The array of bundles, absence of per-unit pricing and difficulty in accurately predicting future usage makes it hard for consumers to choose the right bundles. It is particularly unreasonable that consumers should be penalised through excessive out-of-bundle charges as a result of an unnecessarily complex bundle pricing structure.0 -
The key here is the word contract , you agree when you signup.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

My son has received a huge phone bill from Vodafone because he watched a film on netflix on his phone!
I know - this seems obvious to us normal folk, I have no idea why he didn't realize. He says he wasn't aware that his free internet had been used part way through the film. It must be really nice living in his world!
Is there anything he can do as there is no way he can pay this amount of money.
Hi Willyoulearn,
Thanks for making me aware of your concerns over your son's recent bill.
If you and your son would like any help from me could you ask him to email me with his details via the link in our profile here?
All he'll need to do is copy and paste the link into his web browser and it'll take him to the Contact us form on our website. To make sure it reaches me could he also quote the code WRT135 - MSE in the subject line?
Once sent he'll receive an automated reply with a reference number. So I can make sure I've got it could you update the thread with this and I'll get back to him as soon as possible?
Kind regards,
Lee
