Hotels with no sunbed hassle?

Does anyone have any recommendations for family package holiday hotels that don't include the ritual of a ludicrously early morning dash for sunbeds round the pool.
On holiday I like to have a bit of a lie in!
There must be the odd hidden gem out there that has a decent size pool area in relation to the amount of rooms/people.
Many Thanks.

Anywhere I have been in the USA has had plenty of beds most of the time.
I went to a small hotel in Pasadena (LA) where we were always the only ones by the pool. it was a small pool with only a few beds but always free.
Yours is a very general question, its a big world out there
I haven't been to the Maldives but from what I read I think you would have plenty of space and a lie in0 -

I guess it is quite general so here goes - a bit more specific.
Looking for 2 weeks of sun, August 2014, pref all inclusive, family of 4 (kids 14 & 15), as this is MoneySavingExpert I am looking for as cheap as possible <£3k (although this seems optimistic looking at prices for next year!) , will hire car to explore but kids love the pool, decent weather and mixing with similar ages.0 -
The Jaz Mirabel Beach hotel in Sharm el Sheikh has an enormous pool area with hundreds of sunbeds and it's never a problem to get one. I think that the sunbed wars are worse in the older Spanish etc hotels where the pool areas are not big enough to cater for everyone. Coupled with the fact that a lot of hotels have gone AI so everyone stays around the hotel all day. Of course, everything is worse in July and August. I have been to a hotel in Paphos in Cyprus (Alexander the Great) where you were allocated a sunbed at the beginning of the holiday, but this is unusual.0

Aqua Fun Club Marrakesh has 10 pools with the added bonus of a full size Aqua Park for the kids , though it can be very hot in August .

The Delphin Palace in Turkey (Lara beach) had plenty of sunbed with a strict no reservation policy.
The Sunset beach resort in Jamaica had enough sun beds for everyone in the hotel so no one bothered to reserve them at all.£100 - £10,0000 -
Sorry OP, but I only mentioned the Alexander the Great hotel as an example of good sunbed policy, and not as a suggestion as it is way over the budget you mentioned. You would find the newer hotels in Turkey worth looking at as they will have much bigger pool areas. Your budget might be a problem though, especially in August. I wouldn't recommend Egypt in August as the temperatures are very high, although plenty of families go at that time of year. You might just have to go with the sunbed wars! If you can't beat them, join 'em (done it plenty of times!)0

Hotel Pical, Istria, Croatia. Within your budget, no problem with sunbeds no matter what time you turned up (and this was in August)0

Sandos papagayo beach resort in Lanzarote had 3 big pools and loads of sun beds. There were always some when we went to the pool. Lovely hotel, all inclusive, our family loved it.0
