You can attach a direct air input feed to certain stoves.
It's a bit like an air duct kit you'd have on a tumble drier or extractor hood but in reverse.
Pulls air in from outside and not via the room.

Yes Alleycat has it. With most burners the vents are on the front, so when open they are taking air from your room, air that you have paid to heat up and then the room sucks in fresh cold air to replace it, thus cooling the room.
With a cold air feed, I only have one vent on the back and onto this I have fitted a 50mm pipe that goes straight outside via a vent in the wall, so it uses cold air from outside for the combustion process. The colder the air the better as there is more oxygen. The already heated air stays in room and your log burner isn't working so hard, no so much wood, to maintain a steady temperature.0
