The SOs are optional though. I choose to do manual transfers for several reasons, one of which is that straight £1K transfers on 3 accounts might draw attention (if ever they decide to scrutinise account conduct).
I just log on and, say each of my Lloyds Vantage has earned £16.03, transfer:
£1016.03 from 1>2
£1032.06 from 2>3
£1048.09 from 3>1
And finally, £48.09 from 1>external account.
Takes less than one minute a month.
SOs of exactly £1000 are completely within the terms. What's to draw attention to?
Of course the other option if you are manually inclined is to withdraw all funds every Saturday morning (FP) to another interest paying account without a weekend cutoff and FP them back Monday morning. This did draw attention and I got a call from the bank but when I explained they just said "fair enough that works"!0 -

I Think perhaps SO,s may be best way for several reasons ( FOR ME ). If Pc is Kaput, If away, if Ill, etc.Plus the time and memory factor. OP now
Had bother getting in Lloyds second time to test it,?MEM info???knocked me back several times, got it written down , I had just just done it;;;
Does funding in all A/cs have to be within each Calender month?
OR, no further than 31 days month apart?
EG;Can 1 be on 1st of month 2nd end of month? just curious as to how strict they are, and interest payments;
Are SO,s from all A/c,s to other A/cs( within) on the same day, 1st of each month for example, OK???
Any best set up way? Other than Y,s:-)
Just trying to find best way for me, suppose everyone has a preferred system.
Setting others today:)0 -
I take my interest out as soon as it is deposited in the account but prefer to do my internal transfers after the second working day as I am concerned about what are the cycle for deposits."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0

Don't understand these actions unless the other interest paying account has a higher interest rate. Why all the funds, why not only the £1,000 and as Lloyds do faster payments, you could faster payment it straight back again."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -

On some accounts interest is calculated at the end of each working day, so you could withdraw all funds on the Saturday and move them somewhere else which calculates interest daily and then move them back on the Monday morning. You'd then get interest from both accounts.0 -

Same process as Lloyds, identical form etc, UNTIL it tried to find a local branch. NONE in England, so could not proceed online,it, wouldn,t allow me to bypass it;;;;I had to do 1 via phone, 30 minutes:mad: , and have to wait,24>48 hrs to try and set up other 2 online when It lets me set up internet banking on the first A/c, or, go via phone again, 1 every day?? No way:eek:
anyone else had this problem?
Try next link, see how that goes.
Is it worth it:rotfl:
He said I can use any Halifax branch;;0 -
You can only setup the first account online, 2nd and 3rd typically have to be setup over the phone or in a branch, one per 24 hours.0

Lloyds state:-
For each month that you meet the Vantage conditions, interest is calculated daily on the balance of your account at the relevant Vantage interest rate.
So as interest is calculated daily no need to move savings."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0 -
NO, The first A/c couldn,t be set up online,no local branch,, that,s the problem, I had to phone them, he said, now he set first one up, 2 others, SHOULD be able to be set up online.
