I very rarely use my mobile and just got a text from Adsa about the following
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-24626017
However my credit is almost done, 50 odd p remaining from the £10 I put on it a couple of years ago and I was going to put another £10 on it shortly.
What do I do now?
Or get a Tesco sim?

Getting forgetful, if you think I've asked this before I probably have. :rotfl:

Depends if you want the hassle. It seems to suggest you would get your credit back.0

Its been suggested that the Tesco Lite Low User Tariff is no longer available. So you could switch to the Sainsbury one which has the same call and text rates as Tesco Sainsburys piggy backs on Vodafone like Asda currently does.

Also its rates are cheaper then Asda currently.

Asda change over to EE around the end of November and are supplying new sim cards to be used after that date so if you don't make many calls you could just finish off your present credit and wait for a new sim card to arrive from them.
Unless you really need the phone it's not worth topping up for a few weeks although you could put just £5 credit in and if it's not all used up by the end of March 2014 you get a credit refund as the BBC report says.
If you have not already ordered a new sim card you can do so at http://www.asdamobile.com/ which gives help to both new and existing customers.
If your phone is locked to Asda network you will need to contact customer services for help in getting it unlocked so that it will accept the new sim card. The old sim cards will continue working till the end of March.0 -
Sorry to bump a old thread.
But anyone know if the 10 min 10 text and 10 mb expire after 30 days one the SIM is activated? I could make it last for months if it doesn't.0 -
It didn't on my OH's phone-she's still using the credit that should have expired in mid-Feb.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
