Tesco internet phone to use for VOIP via Yahoo Messenger?

I was about to try to use an Tesco E337 Corded USB Internet Phone (Catalogue number: 100-0433) http://direct.tesco.com/product/images/?R=100-0433for VOIP through Yahoo Messenger, but having my doubts if it is possible. I heard that this phone may be hardware-locked to Tesco software? If not, then can someone please tell me…

The USB device needs to be present. Try unplugging/reconnecting the USB Phone. Is the relevant software still running?
