Sorry for being AWOL, first post updated to here.

Welcome along to all the newbies joining us this week. And welcome back to the regulars. :hello:

Well I had a spend day today of £6.53  was unplanned. I always put together a couple of shoeboxes for a Xmas appeal for a local animal charity. So picked up some cheap bits and also a photo frame I wanted for our bedroom.

    £6.53 / £30

Well done on the no spend days and low spend days. :D

  • Hi everyone

Thanks ETO for the new thread. Sorry I didn't post last week but I just ran out of time lol! I ended up not spending as much money as I'd thought. I managed to spend only £28.00 out of the £40.00 I'd allocated so that was great.

This week I'd like to pledge my usual £5.00 again as work is in short supply this week. Sunday was a NSD and today will be too as I'm not going anywhere in this rubbish weather lol! :rotfl::rotfl:

    Have a great week everyone!

    Cheers

I wasn't in my usual office today so didn't have access to my tea and coffee stash. That meant a spend of £3.15 on three cups of tea, and £2.90 on lunch (a really yummy omelette).

I've put the leftover 95p in my change jar, so that leaves me with £13 till Friday.

ETO - its lovely you do animal charity boxes. Where i worked last Christmas the company encouraged staff to make boxes for kids who wouldn't otherwise receive anything to open Christmas Day. My team did about half a dozen between between us for various ages. I might do 1 myself this year as our local radio station is also a drop off point.

Today was a slight panic as i went to renew my parking pass, went to the office with my £6 in change ready (they are notorious for not accepting notes) and asked for the form. The man said "Ok, i'll get it, have you got your £6.10 ready?" Arghhhh 10p!! 10p?? Where did this rise come from? I nodded but knew i only had £6.05 in my purse - I had visions of having to ask people in the queue for 5p! Thankfully when he returned he just asked me to pop £6 in the machine. Phew!

    So

    Sunday: NSD
    Monday: £6

Still aiming for under £10 for the week and 5 NSDs.

Wow what a long post for me!

NSD today. :j we didn't go anywhere and I managed to blitz the house and get some ironing done.

My work have decided for the last few years not to do cards, but to donate money to a charity which is nice too. I think our local radio has a donate to a child appeal. You just buy a pressie and stick in a box in the shopping centre, but you label for boy/ girl and age range.

Oooo that could have been a bugga with the parking pass. Glad it worked out ok though.
